Ramón Terrats Espacio

Ramón Terrats is a Spanish midfielder from Barcelona, born on 18 October 2000. He developed in the city’s football system with CE Europa and CF Damm before entering senior football at UE Sant Andreu in 2019. At Sant Andreu, Terrats could also operate at centre-back or left-back, broadening his defensive understanding. He moved to Girona in 2020, initially joining the reserve structure before reaching the first team and helping the club secure promotion to La Liga in 2022. In January 2023, he joined Villarreal B on loan and was soon brought into Villarreal’s senior side by Quique Setién, scoring against Celta Vigo on 30 April. Terrats later continued his career through a loan spell at Getafe and a subsequent association with Espanyol. A left-footed central midfielder, he combines short passing and tempo control with positional coverage, counter-pressing and the flexibility to contribute from wider or more advanced roles.
