Antonio José Raíllo Arenas

Antonio José Raíllo Arenas, known as Raíllo, is a Spanish centre-back born in Córdoba on 8 October 1991. He began his senior career with CD Pozoblanco in the Tercera División during 2010–11 before developing through Real Betis and Córdoba CF’s reserve and senior setups. Raíllo joined Espanyol, impressed for the club’s B team and made his La Liga debut against Getafe in August 2015. After six first-team appearances, he moved on loan to Segunda División side Ponferradina. In June 2016, Mallorca signed Raíllo, and he became part of the team that secured successive promotions in 2018 and 2019 to return to La Liga. Standing 1.87 metres tall, he is known for central defensive work, aerial challenges and organizing Mallorca’s back line. He captained Mallorca to the 2023–24 Copa del Rey final and remains with the club.
