Roberts Veips
Roberts Veips is a Latvian footballer born on 22 February 2000. He developed in the JFC Skonto system before moving to Sampdoria in August 2016, beginning a period in Italian football. From 2017 to 2020, Veips played for Sampdoria’s under-19 side in the Primavera 1 competition. He later joined GSD Ambrosiana in March 2021 and returned to Latvia that September with FK Auda. In February 2022, he signed for Valmiera FC, appearing in 25 matches during the 2023 season and gaining European experience in the UEFA Europa Conference League. After a spell with FS Jelgava, Veips moved to Rīgas FS in early 2026 and is also involved with Latvia’s national setup.
