Rav van den Berg

Rav van den Berg is a Dutch defender who developed in PEC Zwolle’s academy. He trained with the first team as a teenager and made his Eredivisie debut against Vitesse on 1 May 2021, aged 16 years and 298 days. In July 2023, Van den Berg moved to Middlesbrough, beginning a spell in the English Championship. During 2023–24, he made 34 league appearances and was named both Middlesbrough’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season. The tall centre-back also gained experience at full-back, adding positional flexibility to his defensive work. In August 2025, he moved to 1. FC Köln in Germany, continuing his progression into Bundesliga football. Van den Berg has also represented the Netherlands at under-21 level.
