Regő Szánthó

Regő Szánthó is a Hungarian forward who plays primarily as a right winger. Born in Győr on 22 November 2000, he developed at Győri ETO and made his professional debut in Hungary’s second division as a teenager. In January 2020, Szánthó joined Ferencvárosi TC and was part of the club’s 2019–20 Hungarian league title-winning squad. He later gained regular senior experience on loan at Zalaegerszeg, scoring 10 goals in 28 appearances during the 2020–21 season. His subsequent path included DAC Dunajská Streda in Slovakia and Vasas, where he continued developing across domestic and international competition. Szánthó also represented Hungary at under-21 level, although he has not established a permanent senior international role. He now continues his career with Dukla Banská Bystrica, adding another Slovak chapter to a career shaped by youth development, title-winning involvement and moves in search of regular football.
