Kouassi Ryan Sessegnon
Kouassi Ryan Sessegnon is an English left midfielder whose preferred foot is his left. Born in London on 18 May 2000, he developed at Fulham after joining the academy in 2008 and progressing through the youth ranks. He made his senior debut in August 2016, aged 16, and quickly established himself on the left, alternating between full-back, wing-back and winger. In the 2017–18 Championship season, Sessegnon scored 16 goals, including a hat-trick against Sheffield United, and won both the division’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards. Tottenham Hotspur signed him in August 2019, where he also scored against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. A season-long loan at 1899 Hoffenheim in 2020–21 broadened his experience as a wing-back. Sessegnon returned to Fulham on a free transfer in July 2024, adding top-level experience to his homegrown career.
