Romano Christian Schmid is an Austrian attacking midfielder, born in Graz on 27 January 2000. He developed at USV Vasoldsberg before joining Sturm Graz’s academy in 2009, and made his Austrian Bundesliga debut in May 2017. Later that year, Schmid moved to Red Bull Salzburg, winning the 2017/18 Austrian Bundesliga title while developing competitively with FC Liefering.
