Rasmus Semundseth Sandberg

Rasmus Semundseth Sandberg is a Norwegian goalkeeper who developed in Trondheim, beginning with Nidelv before joining Rosenborg’s academy. He represented Rosenborg’s Under-19 side in 2017 and 2018, and entered the club’s senior environment around 2019. Sandberg also represented Norway at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, including the squad for the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Seeking senior experience, he moved to IL Stjørdals-Blink, where he played in Norway’s second tier from 2021 to 2024. Sandberg returned to Rosenborg on 31 January 2024 and made his Eliteserien debut against Sandefjord on 1 April that year. He played 90 league minutes for Rosenborg in 2024, while his 2025 league involvement was limited to four minutes. Sandberg remains part of Rosenborg’s squad, continuing his development at the club where his football education began.
