Rocco Reitz

Rocco Reitz is a German midfielder from Duisburg. He joined Borussia Mönchengladbach’s academy at seven in 2009, progressing through the club’s youth teams. He made his Bundesliga debut against Mainz in October 2020, then continued his development through two loan spells at Sint-Truiden in Belgium. Returning to Gladbach, Reitz established himself in central midfield and played all 34 Bundesliga matches in 2023/24, scoring six goals and supplying three assists. His game combines persistent pressing, ball recovery and quick forward passing after possession wins. Reitz also became a Germany Under-21 international and featured in the team’s run to the 2025 European Championship final. He received a senior training invitation ahead of Euro 2024, but has not yet made a full senior appearance. RB Leipzig is now listed as his club, extending a career that began with a long homegrown association at Gladbach.
