Roberto Piccoli

Roberto Piccoli is an Italian forward from Bergamo, born on 27 January 2001. He developed in Atalanta’s academy after beginning with Tritium and helped the youth side win consecutive Campionato Primavera 1 titles from 2018 to 2020. Piccoli moved into senior football with Spezia during the 2020–21 season, gaining Serie A experience before returning to Atalanta. He later spent time with Genoa, Verona and Empoli, followed by a spell at Lecce in 2023–24. At Cagliari in 2024–25, Piccoli scored 10 Serie A goals and established himself as a regular attacking contributor. He also made a memorable impact for Atalanta by scoring a 93rd-minute winner against Torino in August 2021. Standing 1.87 metres tall, Piccoli offers a central presence, using his strength and movement to contest aerial balls and attack space.
