Robin Patrick Olsen

Robin Patrick Olsen is a Swedish goalkeeper born in Malmö, where his football development began with Malmö FF. He also played for local clubs IFK Klagshamn and Bunkeflo FF before returning to Malmö in 2012. By 2013, Olsen had established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, helping Malmö win consecutive Allsvenskan titles and gain Champions League experience. After a period with PAOK, he moved to FC Copenhagen, where his performances in European competition raised his profile beyond Scandinavia. In 2018, Olsen joined AS Roma and was tasked with replacing Alisson Becker. He later represented Cagliari and Everton before continuing his career with Aston Villa. For Sweden, Olsen became an important international goalkeeper and helped drive their run to the 2018 World Cup quarter-finals. At 198 centimetres, Robin Olsen combines reach in the penalty area with experience built across Sweden, Greece, Denmark, Italy and England.
