Romaine Lee Mundle

Romaine Lee Mundle is an English midfielder born in Edmonton on 24 April 2003. He developed at Tottenham Hotspur, joining the academy at six and progressing through its age groups before featuring for Tottenham Hotspur Under-23s. Between 2019 and 2023, Mundle made 89 appearances for Tottenham’s U18, U19 and U21 sides, recording 12 goals and 16 assists. After declining a new Tottenham contract, he moved to Standard Liège in June 2023 and made his professional debut the following month. Limited to six league appearances, all from the bench, he returned to England when Sunderland signed him in February 2024. Mundle scored his first professional goal for Sunderland in March 2024 and became an important contributor during the 2024–25 Championship campaign. He started Sunderland’s 2025 play-off final victory over Sheffield United, helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League.
