Rafael Antonio Mosquera Díaz
Rafael Antonio Mosquera Díaz is a Panamanian attacker born on 24 May 2005. He developed in the youth ranks of C.D. Plaza Amador and made his senior debut for the club in May 2021. In 2022, Mosquera undertook trials with Levante UD in Spain and Grêmio in Brazil. He joined New York Red Bulls II on loan in July 2023 and registered an assist on his debut against FC Cincinnati 2. During the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season, he recorded six goals and seven assists before scoring twice in the Cup final against Colorado Rapids 2, helping New York Red Bulls II win 4–3 on penalties and earning MVP honors. Mosquera has represented Panama at under-20 level, including the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He also received his first senior cap in early 2025 while continuing his progression within the New York Red Bulls system.
