Roberts Meļķis

Roberts Meļķis drives at defenders from the right wing, attacking space and threatening the channel. He progressed from Liepājas FS youth to FK Grobiņa and FK Tukums 2000 before breaking into Virsliga with FK Liepāja. Rising through Latvian top leagues. Meļķis appeared in UEFA Youth League and Conference League Qualifiers, and represented Latvia at U21 level. A turning point arrived when he joined FC RFS, broadening his attacking roles. Now at FS Jelgava, Meļķis remains a versatile attacker who can play right or left wing and as a second striker. Roberts Meļķis attacks space, checks runs, and links play with one-touch lay-offs. He presses high and finishes moves to stretch the defense.
