Ruslan Malinovskyi
Ruslan Malinovskyi is a Ukrainian attacking midfielder born in Zhytomyr on 4 May 1993. He developed at Polissya Zhytomyr before joining the Shakhtar Donetsk academy, although he did not make a first-team appearance there. Loans at Sevastopol and Zorya Luhansk gave him senior experience in Ukraine. In January 2016, Malinovskyi moved to Genk on loan and became a key midfielder as Genk won the Belgian title in 2018–19, when he recorded 13 goals and 11 assists. At Atalanta, which he joined in 2019, he developed into a prominent Serie A midfielder known for powerful shooting from distance. He later played for Marseille and Genoa before being listed with Trabzonspor. At international level, he has represented Ukraine, adding experience in European competition to his club career.
