Rico Henry Mark Lewis

Rico Henry Mark Lewis is an English right-back from Bury who developed at Manchester City after joining the academy at eight. He captained City’s Under-18s to the 2021–22 league title before making his senior debut against Bournemouth in August 2022. In November that year, Lewis scored against Sevilla on his first Champions League start, becoming the competition’s youngest player to do so. He was part of Manchester City’s treble-winning squad in 2022–23, adding major senior honours early in his career. Although registered as a right-back, Lewis has often moved inside during possession, supporting build-up and helping City create central overloads. His positioning, passing and ability to operate across defensive and midfield spaces have made him a flexible option under Pep Guardiola. Lewis made his England debut against North Macedonia in November 2023 and has also represented England Under-21s.
