Rade Krunić

Rade Krunić is a Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder who plays primarily as a defensive midfielder. Born in Foča on 7 October 1993, he began developing at Sutjeska Foča and made his professional debut in 2011. He later played for Donji Srem and Borac Čačak, with a brief spell at Hellas Verona, before joining Empoli in 2015. At Empoli, Krunić helped win the 2017–18 Serie B title and established himself as a versatile central midfielder. His performances led to a move to AC Milan in 2019, where he covered several midfield roles and contributed to the club’s 2021–22 Serie A title. Krunić subsequently joined Fenerbahçe in 2024 before returning to Serbia with FK Crvena Zvezda. He has also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina and brings experience from Italian, Turkish and Serbian football to his current side.
