Ruffice Amédé Kabongo

Ruffice Amédé Kabongo is a French defender born on 12 January 2001 in Congo. Standing 1.84 metres, he developed in the French football system with Évreux 27, progressing from the club’s youth ranks into senior football. He played for Évreux 27 from 2020 to 2023, including a 2022–23 campaign in which he recorded more than 1,400 minutes in National 2. His performances led to a move to Rouen in 2023, where he continued his development in the Championnat National. Kabongo appeared 14 times for Rouen during the 2024–25 season as the club competed near the top of the division. Primarily used on the left, he can also operate at centre-back or farther forward on the flank, giving coaches defensive flexibility.
