Raivis Andris Jurkovskis

Raivis Andris Jurkovskis is a Latvian right-back born in Liepāja on 9 December 1996. He developed in the Liepājas Metalurgs 2 system before joining FK Liepāja after the club’s formation in 2014, and he was part of the squad that won the 2015 Latvian Virsliga title. After a move away in 2015, Jurkovskis returned to FK Liepāja in 2016 and established himself as a regular defender, helping the club win the Latvian Cup in 2017 and 2020. He made his senior debut for Latvia in 2018 and contributed to the team’s Baltic Cup success that year. In January 2021, he moved to Dundalk, winning the FAI President’s Cup before returning to Latvia in December and joining Riga. At Riga, Jurkovskis has added the 2023 Latvian Cup, 2024 Super Cup and 2025 Virsliga title, while offering cover at left-back and in wider roles.
