Ricky-Jade Jones
Ricky-Jade Jones is an English forward from Peterborough who developed in Peterborough United’s academy after joining at nine. He made his first-team debut for Peterborough United in October 2019, beginning a senior career built around pace and direct running. Initially used to attack space and run beyond defenders, Jones has also developed as a centre-forward or left-sided attacker who can link play with quick passes. His progress was interrupted by a series of injuries between 2021 and 2023, including knee, hip and ankle problems. In 2024/25, he scored 11 league goals and helped Peterborough United win the EFL Trophy. Jones then left his hometown club for FC St. Pauli on a free transfer in June 2025, taking his development into German football. After shoulder surgery during pre-season, he returned to score against Borussia Dortmund in January 2026, providing a notable early moment in his St. Pauli chapter.
