Robin Hranáč

Robin Hranáč is a Czech centre-back born in Plzeň on 29 January 2000. He developed in Viktoria Plzeň’s academy, progressing through the youth ranks and second team before gaining senior experience away from home. A loan at Tatran Liptovský Mikuláš in 2021 gave him regular top-flight football, while his 2022–23 spell at Pardubice further established him as a dependable starter. Returning to Viktoria Plzeň, Hranáč became a regular during the 2023–24 season and helped the club reach the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-finals. His performances earned him the Czech First League Defender of the Season award and a place in the competition’s Team of the Season. Hranáč made his Czech senior debut against Armenia in March 2024 and represented his country at UEFA Euro 2024. In August 2024, he joined TSG Hoffenheim, continuing his career as a tall defender valued for aerial strength, positioning and build-up passing.
