Rory Holden

Rory Holden is a central midfielder from Derry, Northern Ireland, born on 23 August 1997. Standing 1.65 metres tall, he developed as a technical player in the League of Ireland and was linked with Derry City during his early career. Holden later moved into the English game with Port Vale, where his progress brought interest from clubs in the Championship. In June 2023, he left Port Vale to join The New Saints. The move took him into the Cymru Premier, where Holden became an important part of The New Saints. His career has also been shaped by serious injuries, making his return to regular football a significant part of his story. Holden remains associated with The New Saints, bringing experience from both Irish and English football to the Welsh club’s midfield.
