Redouane Halhal

Redouane Halhal is a Moroccan defender born in Montpellier, France, on 5 March 2003. He began developing at AS Atlas Paillade before joining Montpellier HSC’s academy in 2015, where he remained until 2021. Halhal then continued his development in Atlético Madrid’s youth and reserve setup. In August 2024, he moved to KV Mechelen and spent the 2024–25 season on loan at Helmond Sport in the Netherlands. Returning to Mechelen, he established himself as a regular defender during the following campaign, contributing to the team’s defensive work and build-up play. At 1.87 metres, he brings size to central defence and can also cover wider positions across the back line. He has represented Morocco at youth level and is listed with Morocco and Venezia, reflecting the continuing development of his professional career.
