Romain Faivre

Romain Faivre is a French midfielder born in Asnières-sur-Seine on July 14, 1998. He developed through youth football before joining Tours in 2014, where his progress attracted Monaco. After signing his first professional contract in 2018, Faivre made his senior debut later that year but spent much of his time with the reserve side. In 2020, he moved to Stade Brestois 29, establishing himself as a creative midfielder through his dribbling, key passes and ability to carry the ball into advanced areas. In January 2022, he joined Lyon, where opportunities were less consistent. A loan to Lorient in early 2023 helped restore his momentum, before he transferred to Bournemouth that summer and returned to Lorient on loan. Faivre is most effective from the right or as a central playmaker, using his left foot to deliver through balls, attack set pieces and press after losing possession.
