Raheem Nathaniel Anfernee Edwards

Raheem Nathaniel Anfernee Edwards is a Canadian midfielder born in Toronto. He developed with Erin Mills SC before attending Sheridan College, where he won a CCAA National Championship in 2014. Through League1 Ontario, he played for Internacional de Toronto and ANB Futbol before joining Toronto FC II in 2015. Edwards moved into Toronto FC’s first team in 2016, helping the club win the MLS Cup, Supporters’ Shield, and Canadian Championship in 2017. After being selected by LAFC in the expansion draft, he moved to Montreal in 2018, then continued with Chicago Fire and Minnesota United. Edwards later played for LAFC and LA Galaxy, where his left-sided attacking work and progressive carrying became prominent. He made his Canada debut against Curaçao in 2017, adding international experience to his club career. In 2026, Edwards returned to Toronto FC, bringing extensive MLS experience back to his hometown club.
