Radu Matei Drăgușin
Radu Matei Drăgușin is a Romanian centre-back born in Bucharest on 3 February 2002. He developed at Sportul Studențesc and Regal Sport București before joining Juventus in 2018. At Juventus, Drăgușin progressed through the under-23 side and made his Champions League debut in 2020. Loans to Sampdoria, Salernitana and Genoa then gave him experience in Italian football, with his Genoa spell coinciding with promotion to Serie A. He moved to Tottenham in January 2024, where his 1.91-metre frame supports aerial defending and physical duels in the back line. Drăgușin represented Romania throughout the team’s Euro 2024 campaign, helping the nation top its group. After a serious knee injury in early 2025, he returned following rehabilitation and is currently associated with Fiorentina.
