Raffaele Di Gennaro

Raffaele Di Gennaro is an Italian goalkeeper born in Saronno on October 3, 1993. He began playing for local parish side Prealpi before entering Inter’s youth sector in 2002, aged nine. In 2012, he started for Inter’s Primavera team that won both the Campionato Nazionale Primavera and inaugural NextGen Series, saving a penalty in the final shootout against Ajax. He then developed through loans at Cittadella, Latina, Ternana and Spezia, before later spells with Catanzaro, Pescara and Gubbio. At Gubbio in 2022–23, Di Gennaro kept 20 clean sheets in 34 matches and was named Serie C Group B goalkeeper of the season. He returned to Inter in July 2023 and made his Serie A debut as a substitute against Hellas Verona on May 26, 2024. He remains part of Inter’s squad, bringing extensive lower-division experience and academy ties to the club.
