Rudy Adrien Camacho

Rudy Adrien Camacho is a French defender born in L’Arbresle who developed in the Nancy system before beginning his senior career in the club’s reserve team. He then played for Lyon Duchere and Sedan, where his leadership helped the side win promotion to the Championnat National. In 2016, Camacho moved abroad to SK Beveren in Belgium and later became the club’s captain. He joined CF Montréal in 2018, establishing himself as a central defender and helping the club win Canadian Championship titles in 2019 and 2021. In 2023, he transferred to Columbus Crew, where he reunited with former Montréal coach Wilfried Nancy and started all six matches in the Crew’s MLS Cup-winning postseason run. Camacho operates mainly at the heart of a back three, combining defensive organization with measured passing and positional intelligence. He was selected for the MLS All-Star team in 2024.
