Rocky Bushiri Kisonga

Rocky Bushiri Kisonga is a defender born in Belgium who represents the Democratic Republic of Congo. He developed with Eendracht Mazenzele Opwijk before joining Oostende in 2014, where he became the club’s youngest-ever debutant in December 2017. A loan to AS Eupen followed, and he made a reported 33 appearances during the 2018–19 season. Bushiri then moved to Norwich City in 2019, beginning a period of loans that included Blackpool, Sint-Truiden, KV Mechelen and a return to Eupen. Bushiri joined Hibernian in January 2022, initially on loan, before establishing himself in the Edinburgh side. In 2024, he scored a late equaliser against Aberdeen, and he remains part of Hibernian’s defensive group. He also represented Belgium at youth level before switching to DR Congo and making his senior debut in 2023.
