Roman Begunov
Roman Begunov is a Belarusian defender born in Minsk on 22 March 1993. He developed at FC Minsk and made his senior breakthrough there in 2011, recording 87 league appearances and helping the club win the Belarusian Cup in 2012–13. In 2015, Begunov moved to Dinamo Minsk, where he made 65 league appearances during his first spell. After a season with Torpedo-BELAZ Zhodino, he joined Shakhter Soligorsk in 2020. Begunov won consecutive Belarusian Premier League titles in 2020 and 2021, followed by the Belarusian Super Cup in 2021. He returned to Dinamo Minsk in 2022 and is listed with the club, primarily operating at right-back while also covering centrally. Begunov represented Belarus at under-21 level before making his senior debut against Montenegro in March 2016.
