Remo Arnold

Remo Arnold is a Swiss midfielder born in Schlierbach on 17 January 1997. He developed at FC Knutwil from 2005 to 2009 before joining FC Luzern’s academy at age 12. Arnold represented Switzerland from under-16 to under-21 level between 2012 and 2017, including the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He made his senior debut for Luzern in the 2015–16 season, then moved to Winterthur on loan in 2018. The loan gave Arnold a regular role, with 34 league appearances recorded during that spell. He joined Winterthur permanently in 2020 and has since become an established member of the club’s squad. Arnold helped Winterthur win the Challenge League in 2021–22, while his 1.90-metre frame and defensive-minded midfield work provide physical presence and versatility in central areas.
