Ronald Federico Araújo da Silva

Ronald Federico Araújo da Silva is a Uruguayan centre-back born in Rivera on 7 March 1999. He began playing as a striker and signed his first professional contract with Rentistas in 2016. After moving to Boston River, he transitioned into defence, where his height, pace and strength became central to his development. In 2018, Barcelona recruited Araújo for their reserve side, beginning his progression toward senior football in Spain. By the 2020–21 season, he had established himself as a first-team regular.
