Ruben Kristensen Alte

Ruben Kristensen Alte is a Norwegian midfielder who developed in Namsos after beginning at Gullvikmoen IL and joining Namsos IL in 2012. He made his senior debut for Namsos in 2016, then had a short spell with Steinkjer FK before returning to Namsos in 2019. Later that year, Alte moved into Ranheim's youth system and progressed into the first-team squad during 2020. He established himself in Ranheim's midfield in Norway's second tier, combining ball retention with disciplined distribution. In January 2024, he joined Kristiansund BK and started all 30 league matches in his first Eliteserien season, contributing four goals and three assists. Alte moved to Viking FK in July 2025 and featured in the club's title-winning campaign. Registered with Viking, Ruben Alte is a central midfielder whose steady rise has taken him from regional football to Norway's top level.
