Abdel Rahim Alhassane Bonkano

Abdel Rahim Alhassane Bonkano is a Nigerien defender born in Abuja, Nigeria, on 1 January 2002. He developed through football environments in Niger, Ghana and Austria before continuing his youth career in Spain with Rayo Majadahonda. Alhassane began his senior pathway at CD Paracuellos Antamira in 2020, then joined Gimnástica Segoviana on loan for the 2021–22 season. After returning to Rayo Majadahonda, he moved to Recreativo de Huelva in August 2023 and established himself in Spain’s third tier. His performances led to a move to Real Oviedo in July 2024, where he made his professional debut against Deportivo de La Coruña. Alhassane is currently listed with Bologna and Niger’s under-23 setup, while he has also represented Niger internationally. Standing 1.84 metres tall, he brings defensive versatility and aerial presence.
