Quentin Bernard

Quentin Bernard is a French defender born in Poitiers on 7 July 1989. He developed through local football before joining the Chamois Niortais academy in 2003 and entering senior football with the club in 2008. Primarily a left-back at Niort, Bernard established himself through dependable defensive work and support in possession during a substantial spell that lasted until 2015. He joined Dijon in 2015 and was part of the squad that secured promotion to Ligue 1. After moving to Stade Brestois 29 in 2017, Bernard became a regular starter and helped the club reach Ligue 1 in 2019. He then spent four seasons with Auxerre, contributing to the team’s 2022 promotion to the top flight, before briefly returning to Niort in 2023. Bernard rejoined Dijon in August 2024 and continues to bring experience to the club’s defensive unit, with his reading of play and passing supporting a more versatile role.
