Pol Lozano Vizuete

Pol Lozano Vizuete is a Spanish central midfielder born in Sant Quirze del Vallès on 6 October 1999. He joined Espanyol’s academy from CE Mercantil in 2006 at prebenjamín level and progressed through the club’s youth ranks. Lozano made his senior debut for Espanyol B in 2017, starting against CE Sabadell, and scored his first senior goal later that year against Terrassa. He made his professional debut for Espanyol in a 2019 UEFA Europa League qualifying match against FC Luzern, replacing Sergi Darder, before making his La Liga debut against Real Madrid. In 2021–22, Lozano moved on loan to Girona, where he played 31 matches and scored his first professional goal against Sporting de Gijón. Returning to Espanyol, he has continued to operate in central midfield, helping circulate possession and provide defensive cover.
