Philippe Coutinho Correia

Philippe Coutinho Correia

Philippe Coutinho builds space in the attacking third, cutting inside from the inside-left to threaten the back post. Coutinho's career arc spans Inter, Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern before a return to Vasco da Gama. Coutinho thrives when checks short then spins. At Liverpool he flourished, earning PFA Team of the Year recognition and fans' Player of the Year awards. A record transfer to Barcelona followed, then a season on loan at Bayern. Coutinho was part of Brazil's Copa América 2019 title-winning squad. Coutinho's return to Vasco da Gama anchors a creative, free-role profile in the inside-left channel. He attacks space, drives at defenders and finishes moves with quick releases.
