Pedro David Rosendo Marques

Pedro Marques, as a centre-forward, attacks space and makes intelligent runs behind defenses to threaten the channel. Pedro Marques joined Sporting CP Academy in 2016 and debuted for Sporting CP’s first team in 2018. He thrives on quick in-behind runs. A 2020 Taça de Portugal brace showcased his finishing moves. The 2022/23 move to NEC Nijmegen marked a turning point. A successful loan to Apollon Limassol in 2023/24, then a permanent transfer in May 2024, and he also represented Portugal at U18, U19 and U20 levels. Now with Apollon Limassol, Marques presses high, drives forward on counters and links play with one-touch layoffs to create separation. His pace and technique shield the ball in final-third transitions, and he finishes moves to get shots off quickly, pinning centre-backs and attacking the back post.
