Pedro Chirivella Burgos

Pedro Chirivella is a Spanish midfielder born in Valencia on 23 May 1997. He developed at Valencia’s academy before joining Liverpool in 2013, beginning a seven-year spell at Anfield. He made his Premier League debut against Swansea City in May 2016, while loan moves to Go Ahead Eagles and Willem II in the Netherlands provided regular senior football and his first professional goals. In Liverpool’s 2019–20 season, Chirivella captained a young side in a Carabao Cup quarter-final against Aston Villa and featured in FA Cup victories over Everton and Shrewsbury Town. He joined Nantes on a free transfer in 2020, developing into a regular midfielder and later becoming club captain in 2023. Chirivella started Nantes’ 1–0 Coupe de France final victory over Nice in 2022. In 2025, he moved to Panathinaikos, adding his possession-based passing and leadership to the Greek club’s midfield.
