Pedro Henrique Nunes Silva

Pedrão, the commonly used name of Brazilian defender Pedro Henrique Nunes Silva, was born on 22 January 2000 in Vila do Tigre, Brazil. Standing 190 centimetres tall, he developed in Brazilian football before moving to Malta and joining Hibernians in July 2024. At Hibernians, Pedrão has operated primarily as a central defender, with his physical profile suited to aerial challenges and defensive set pieces. He has also been described as capable of moving into a defensive-midfield role, giving his team added positional flexibility. His European involvement included appearances in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying campaign, where Hibernians faced Spartak Trnava. In that tie, an own goal was part of a 5–1 defeat, but he subsequently featured in league fixtures, including a clean sheet against Mosta.
