Paulo Eduardo Ferreira Godinho

Paulo Eduardo Ferreira Godinho is a Brazilian defender born in Anápolis, Goiás, on 14 February 2002. He developed in Cruzeiro’s youth system after joining the Belo Horizonte club in 2016 and signed his first professional contract in November 2020. Paulo Eduardo made his senior debut for Cruzeiro in January 2021, featuring in a 1–0 victory over Sampaio Corrêa. In August 2022, he moved to Portugal, joining Santa Clara on a five-year deal. After limited top-flight opportunities, he returned to Brazil on loan with Grêmio Novorizontino in July 2023. By 2025, Paulo Eduardo had joined Riga in Latvia, where the 1.88-metre centre-back has continued his development and contributed defensively and in the air, while offering a left-sided option in the back line.
