Paulo Victor da Silva

Paulinho, whose full name is Paulo Victor da Silva, is a Brazilian left-back born in São Paulo on 3 January 1995. He developed in Brazil before moving from the domestic game to FC Midtjylland on 1 July 2019. Paulinho made his league debut for the Danish club against Esbjerg fB and helped the side win the Danish Superliga in his first season. He later made his UEFA Champions League debut in a qualifier against Ludogorets Razgrad. During the 2021–22 Europa League campaign, he started every match, underlining his importance to Midtjylland’s defensive structure. In 2023–24, Paulinho recorded one goal and five assists in 26 appearances, contributing from the left flank through attacking runs and defensive work. He is listed in Botafogo’s current squad, while Bahia and Santos are also among his linked teams.
