Philip Aksel Frigast Zinckernagel

Philip Aksel Frigast Zinckernagel is a Danish winger born in Copenhagen on 16 December 1994. He developed with KB and FC Copenhagen before moving to Nordsjælland in 2010, then began his senior career with HB Køge and FC Helsingør. Zinckernagel reached Denmark’s top flight with SønderjyskE in 2016, before joining Bodø-Glimt in 2018. At Bodø-Glimt, he became a key attacking player, recording 19 goals in the 2020 Eliteserien title-winning campaign as the club secured its first Norwegian championship. Watford signed him in January 2021, and he later helped Nottingham Forest win promotion to the Premier League during a loan spell, although he did not play a Premier League minute. Subsequent moves included Olympiakos Piraeus, Standard Liège and Club Brugge, where he was part of the 2024 Belgian championship-winning squad. P. Zinckernagel now represents Chicago Fire, continuing a career built on wide creativity, inside movement and set-piece delivery.
