Patrick Yazbek

Patrick Yazbek is an Australian midfielder born in Liverpool, New South Wales, on 5 April 2002. He developed through youth football in the region before joining the Sydney FC Academy at 15. After signing a scholarship contract in July 2021, Yazbek made his senior debut in the FFA Cup and established himself in Sydney FC’s midfield. In February 2023, he moved to Norway to join Viking FK, where he recorded two goals and seven assists in 45 appearances. Nashville SC brought Yazbek to Major League Soccer in July 2024, adding a mobile central midfielder who can also operate in a deeper role. His game is built around covering ground, disrupting transitions and linking possession from deep with forward options. Yazbek made his senior Australia debut against Lebanon in March 2024 and provided an assist in a 5–0 World Cup qualifying win.
