Patrick Weah

Patrick Weah is a Liberian centre-forward born in Monrovia on December 5, 2003. After moving to the United States in 2011, he developed in Minnesota and emerged at Wayzata High School, where he helped win a state championship and earned Minnesota State Player of the Year honors in 2017. He then came through Minnesota United’s academy and began college soccer with Saint Louis in 2020, scoring on his debut in February 2021. After only three college appearances, Minnesota United signed Weah as a Homegrown Player, and he made his professional debut against Austin FC on May 1, 2021. A torn left ACL later that year sidelined him for the 2022 season. He subsequently played for Minnesota United 2, Sacramento Republic and HB Køge on loan before joining Atlanta United II in 2025. At 185 centimetres, Weah combines a centre-forward’s frame with direct attacking intent and pressing work.
