Paul Wanner

Paul Wanner is a midfielder born in Dornbirn, Austria, on 23 December 2005. He began playing at FV Ravensburg before joining Bayern München’s academy at 13, where rapid progression took him from the under-16s to the under-19s. On 7 January 2022, Wanner made his Bayern first-team debut against Borussia Mönchengladbach at 16 years and 15 days, becoming the club’s youngest player. He later gained senior experience on loan with SV Elversberg in the 2. Bundesliga during 2023–24. In 2024–25, he moved to 1. FC Heidenheim and contributed across Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Conference League fixtures. Wanner subsequently joined PSV Eindhoven in 2025, continuing his development in the Netherlands. A creative, left-footed attacking midfielder, he can operate between the lines or from the right, and he now represents Austria after previously featuring for Germany’s youth teams.
