Peter Vindahl Jensen

Peter Vindahl Jensen is a Danish goalkeeper born in Helsingør on 16 February 1998. At 1.95 metres, he developed through HUI and Lyngby before joining FC Nordsjælland in January 2015. After several seasons as a reserve, Vindahl made his professional debut in the Danish Cup during 2018–19, then played his first Superliga match against FC Midtjylland in March 2019, a 0–0 draw. He moved to AZ Alkmaar in August 2021 and made 48 appearances in his first season across all competitions. After losing his starting place, he joined 1. FC Nürnberg on loan for 2022–23. A July 2023 loan to Sparta Praha revived his career, and he helped the club win the Czech First League and Czech Cup double in 2023–24. Sparta then exercised its option to sign him permanently in March 2024. Internationally, Vindahl has represented Denmark at Under-21 level and received senior call-ups, while his profile combines imposing reach with the distribution expected of a modern goalkeeper.
