Paul Tschernuth
Paul Tschernuth is an Austrian goalkeeper born on January 20, 2002, in Salzburg. He began his youth development with USC Eugendorf in 2011 before progressing through the Red Bull Salzburg system at U16, U18 and U19 level. Tschernuth was also associated with FC Liefering during his development. In July 2021, he moved to 1. FC Heidenheim, continuing his senior development in Germany. He was part of Heidenheim’s squad that won the 2. Bundesliga title in 2022–23 as the club secured promotion to the Bundesliga. At international level, Paul Tschernuth represented Austria in the under-17 and under-18 teams. He remains registered with 1. FC Heidenheim, which extended his contract in 2025 through June 30, 2027.
