Phillip Tietz
Phillip Tietz is a German centre-forward, born in Braunschweig on 9 July 1997. He developed at Eintracht Braunschweig and made his professional debut in the 2. Bundesliga in February 2016. His route upward included spells with SC Paderborn, Carl Zeiss Jena and SV Wehen Wiesbaden before he joined SV Darmstadt 98. During Darmstadt’s 2022–23 promotion campaign, Tietz scored 12 goals and supplied five assists. He moved to FC Augsburg in July 2023 and, in his first Bundesliga season, played all 34 matches, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. In January 2026, Tietz transferred to FSV Mainz 05, continuing a career built on centre-forward work, physical hold-up play and attacking contribution.
