Peter Forrest Stroud
Peter Forrest Stroud is an American midfielder who developed in the New York Red Bulls Academy before moving to England. At 16, he joined West Ham United’s academy, spending 2018 to 2020 with its youth sides and gaining experience in the club’s development pathway. Stroud then returned to the United States to play for Duke University, where he won consecutive ACC Midfielder of the Year awards in 2021 and 2022. In January 2023, he signed as a New York Red Bulls Homegrown Player and made his MLS debut soon afterward. With the Red Bulls, Stroud established himself in central midfield, contributing to buildup and defensive work across his first professional seasons. He later moved to Minnesota United FC, adding another MLS chapter to his career. Stroud’s progression reflects a route through academy, European youth and college football into the professional game.
